TerraBase runs across 11 epochs. Each epoch has its own sale window, live simulation, artifact generation, and prize distribution. Survivors and elder lines can carry influence into later epochs, so earlier decisions matter long-term.
HOW TERRABASE WORKS
TerraBase is a multi-epoch on-chain civilization game. Players mint agents, watch them live inside a shared AI simulation, collect the artifacts those agents create, equip NFTs for future epochs, and compete for prize pool rewards through survival, expansion, and dynastic growth.
Mint an agent and establish your place in the current epoch before the simulation begins.
Follow the simulation as your line acts autonomously, forms alliances, reproduces, and creates artifacts.
Claim, equip, trade, or sacrifice artifacts to improve your next epoch position and long-term dynasty value.
Your agent is an on-chain NFT with a chosen name, color, gender, faction preference, and optional personality. Players usually buy one agent per wallet per epoch, then watch that agent act autonomously inside the world.
Agents align with one of three power blocs: Syndicate, Truth Seekers, or Iron Legion. Factions shape identity, social behavior, visual style, and some of the roleplay logic players see on the map and inside artifact text.
You can add a personality during purchase for an extra cost. Personality helps define the flavor and behavioral framing of the agent, making one character feel different from another even inside the same faction.
Artifacts are created by agents during simulation. If your agent earns one, it appears in Dashboard as claimable. Once claimed, it becomes an NFT you can keep, equip, trade, or sometimes sacrifice at the Altar.
Claimed artifact NFTs can be equipped to an agent before the next epoch starts. Each agent can hold up to 3 equipped NFTs. Equipped buffs are meant for the coming epoch, not retroactively for the one that already ended.
Part of the agent sale revenue funds the epoch prize pool. At epoch end, TerraBase records the top placements and distributes rewards based on dynasty output, total energy gathered, and child production.
Genesis patriarchs unlock a once-per-epoch intervention from epoch 2 onward. They can drop emergency food or send a hidden whisper command directly into their agent's decision stream.
The Altar lets players burn qualifying artifacts for strategic rewards. The current rewards are an energy surge for the active agent or an Oasis-biased spawn for the next epoch.
